Reverend/Elder Vincent D. Moye Jr.
Reverend
Vincent D. Moye, Jr. is the eldest son of Vincent
D. Moye, Sr. and Nancy Moye of Aliquippa, PA. As a child,
the call of God was evident on young Vince’s life as
he has always been apt to serve and lead in his home
and community. In addition to his parents, Vince grew
up with the love and support of his brother and six
sisters; and is now a proud uncle of many nieces and
nephews.
Vince is the grandson of Elder Augustus J. and Missionary
Frances Stanback-Moye, proving to be a fourth generation
preacher in his family to serve the Southwestern Pennsylvania
community. Both of his Grandparents were instrumental
in him receiving Jesus Christ as his Lord anSavior in
1990.
A sanctified preacher in the Church of God in Christ
(COGIC), Vince enjoys a well-earned reputation as a
dynamic bible teacher who blends the skills of economics
& finance with biblical principles to offer creative
and penetrating insights into the challenges of everyday
life and the management of them.
Vince was licensed to preach by
Elder Emanuel Moreland, and ordained to the gospel ministry
by Bishop Melvin E. Clark, Sr.. Since 2002 Vince has
served as Sunday School Superintendent for the Second
Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Pennsylvania COGIC.
In addition to his dedicated service to the Lord, Vince
has been a Vice President of the Federal Home Loan Bank
of Pittsburgh since 1999. In this role, Vince’s primary
goal is to implement business development strategies
that analyze business needs to assist financial institutions
in achieving their goals and objectives. Prior to joining
the FHLBank of Pittsburgh, Vince was a bank officer,
serving as a portfolio and relationship manager with
PNC Bank since 1995, and received a Bachelor’s of Science
and Business Administration degree in accounting from
Slippery Rock University in 1994.
Vince serves his church and community on many fronts,
and endeavors to live a life that will provide reasons
for everyone to take special pride in a personal relationship
with Jesus Christ. The “Anointing”, he argues, is the
enabling for all to live life by God’s design.
Pastor Moye is happily married to the formerly Charmaine Stinson.
